Lower your multipier and up FSB, I tinks no your ram problem, your board give up before your ram hit its own speed. I think the best way it's ower multipier to 6 and test your board for highest FSB.

Any more than a 500 fsb and you need mad volts to get to windows. got it to 520 the other day and needed over 1.6 to hit windows! even then it BSOD after a few mins.

So stick with 1000Mhz ram speed or overclock your ram then. Or try not run @ 1:1, someting 4:5... or the nearest speed of your ram (I think it 1066).

eek! 1.6v is a bit high is it not? Even just to try.

I would try upping the the multy and dropping the fsb as already said.

no way you should put 1.6v through a wolfie, u will kill it . Also why are you trying such a fsb with low multi. Most boards now and since 680i have done 450fsb + easy and with a high multi ure laughing.

Lower the fsb like sugested and higher the multi dude

sorry 1.6 was NB volts i've never put more than about 1.36 though my e8400 my chip will not go stable after 3.8 so I thougth that dropping the multi to get a faster fsb was better? is that wrong then?
