Hi i have a gigabyte G1 killer guerrilla x58 board and have 3x 2gb ( 6gb ) of corsair xms3 1600mhz and as my board has 6 channels and can support 24gb i was wondering if i could buy Corsair Vengeance 12GB (3x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Triple Channel Kit and all so use my xms3 6gb of ram aswell to make 18gb is this possable??????

Would i need a bigger PSU and can all 6 ram cards run at 1600mhz.

I all so have MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 2048MB GDDR5 and was thinking bout fitting a second one in SLI but i will deffo need new PSU for that which corsair Psu should i be looking at that not over top price but not cheapest aswell??

Regards
Kyle

Thanks for reply beejjacobs here is my spec i have at mo.

My spec

Gigabyte G1 Killer Guerrilla x58 gaming motherboard
Intel i7 960 overclocked to 4.0 ghz ( Corsair H60 liquid cooler x2 fans push/pull )
MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 2048MB GDDR5
Corsair XMS 3 3x2gb ( 6gb ) 1600mhz ram
500gb HHD drive ( wont a SSD )
550w PSU none name brand unit ( wont corsair )
Running windows 7 64 bit

My pc is for gaming mostly.

How would it affect the overclock running 6 sticks?? and i was thinking of the Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply as its about most i would wont to pay for one.

My PSU now that i have is a 550w and is about 3 years old and it was not a lot of money when i got it i was on a budget at the time but has done good for me over the years but time for a upgrade.

Regards
Kyle
