Help with random fan in case

I upgraded my system a few months ago, new power supply, case and graphics card. I kept all of the other parts from my old HP pc.

However, because the case i got (Antec P280) with the adjustable fan speed, i have to keep this random fan from my old pc connected or it wont let me boot up the machine.

Does anyone know what i should do to be able to get rid of it? Its ugly.

Ive looked for fan settings in the BIOS and I cant find any

Its a 3 pin

It's connected to the chassis fan header

Yeah, it boots with an error when it's not plugged in. Although, I can easily proceed, it's just annoying that I have to have a fan dangling in my case in order to not get any errors.

My chassis fans are connected by molex, ive just taken the bloody thing out. It seems to be the only solution. I'll just have to put up with presing F2 every time I boot it up

Shold be alright, I'm upgrading the rest of my parts soon so hopefuly that'll fix it.
