Hi was wondering if anyone can help me. I brought the ROG RampageVI APEX Motherboard. I have all my hardware plugged it, but when I come to boot it up my graphics card fans spin and then stop, I am getting no signal on my screen. Also none of the rear usb hubs are working, even though I have connected the usb cable to the motherboard.

Not sure what i am doing wrong, can anyone perhaps guide me or do some troubleshooting with me please. Thank you.

Also does anyone know where the HD audio cable plugs into please, ty

Everything...rules out the motherboard shorting against the case standoffs. Take the board out and place it on some cardboard on a table, hook everything up and short out the two pins for the main switch. If you're not comfortable doing this, perhaps best to ask someone who is to assist.

It's not difficult to do, but does take out the possibility of shorting against the standoffs as that's otherwise not easy to verify.

Im really dumb when it comes to computers did not really understand what you meant. Unforuneatly I do not have many friends and the ones I do know nothing about computers.

Update: I connected the 'speaker' to the mother board and its letting out a long beep followed by two sharp beeps if that means anything

At this stage. I'd be checking BIOS compatibility with your chosen graphics card and/or trying it out of the case.

not sure if this means anything but when I remove the 8pin power cable from the motherboard the graphics card fans actually run and the pc switches straight on instead of going on off and then on. Although nothing comes up on the PC monitor and usb slots still don't work

Turns out they sent me a *faulty motherboard. I am actually really annoyed with this service, they waisted a lot of my time. Although they did offer to send me a replacement - though this will be a long process first I have to find the time to send it back to them then wait for them to send me a new one. Just poor service. Really annoyed.

*Faulty CPU pins.
