Help with server

im looking at getting the logic case SC-4316 to be host to my storage server, however I dont understand anything when it comes to SAS back-planes etc.

In order for me to use the 24 drive bays what kind of SAS card etc would I need

Ok think I understand, now with regards to the HBA card I have seen quite a few on ebay (im using unraid by the way) which are flashed to IT mode, however a lot are from china/Hong Kong, would they be duds?
