Help with setting up Internet tv.

I have a samsung tv and it normally works fine with iplayer. It's network settings are setup for auto which has worked fine in the past.

I am trying to setup manually but it wants

IP Address, I don't know what it is but I assume I can put any free ip address in here?

Subnet mask I think is 255.255.255.0
Gateway, is this my router ip? If it is it's 192.168.2.1
Dns server, dunno what this is

Yes, any free IP address. Configure your DHCP range to that it isn't reused later.

Try using the IP of your router. Otherwise do an ipconfig on your PC and copy what's listed there.

Open a command prompt on your PC (as Admin). Do ipconfig/all.

Copy the relevant numbers from there to your TV but change the end digit of the IP(V4) address by one.
