Help with setting up memory

Hi all I have an asus maximus formula x and an 8700k im trying to overclock and get memory at a decent speed

I have this GSkill memory. I know I wont ever get it close to 4133 mhz but I would guess I can probably get the timings down to a better place?

I have never messed about with the memory timings and would really like some help and input on where to go with this

the first thing to do is load XMP and see what sort of speed you can get at XMP timings.

load XMP and adjust the Mhz until it boots and is stable
