Hi. I'm new to SLI'ing, I recently got another EVGA GTX780 Hydro Copper to pair with my existing one on an Asus Maximus Formula VI m/b. I hacked my existing loop just to get the second card in and working with a single serial connection, and it's currently in and running fine in SLI. But the connection is really only temporary and I'm going to re-do the whole loop so I want to get the cards running parallel. The port spacing between the cards is 40mm - what's the best way to bridge them? I read about 1/2/3-slot flow bridges but I think the distance between the 2 x16 slots on the Formula VI is a bit non-standard. Would the Crystal Link or EK pre-cut acrylic tubes fit? or should I look at the variable length bridges like the Bitspower Aquapipe? There are 2 different lengths listed under the bitspower fittings but I'm not sure either would fit (maybe the larger 41-69mm might be suitable?). sorry if this is rambling.

cheers,
bb

To be honest best way if you're not sure would be to take the cards out and measure the pcie slots center to center. The bridges normally show the gap they're designed for in the product description.

Asus Maximus VI Formula.

I was thinking about this:

WC-500-BP Bitspower Multi-Link Adapter G1 / 4 inch OD 12mm - Matte Black £4.99
WC-486-BP Bitspower Crystal Link Tube - 101mm £2.45

...but if at some stage I want to go all acrylic (because it looks the business) would it be better to standardize on a size and brand of tube and fittings now? If so what's everyone using?
