I have looking into water cooling….as I started off wanting to buy a quad with a decent air cooler. I am would like some advice about what components to buy. I want to cool both CPU and GPU…Im currently using a 8800GTX and a C2D (probably going quad soon). I was going to buy the swiftech kit…

but not currently in stock…and am having trouble finding any in the UK.

So if I buy separates….some help on what to buy would be nice. I would say im looking for a ½” system, with double rad, a cpu block, a gpu block and anything else required. The chipset I am just going to leave as air cooled for the moment.

Thanks

Dtek Fusion CPU block,Thermochill 120.2 rad,DDC Ultra pump with plexitop or Laing D5,tygon R360 tubing, fill port or res, prefer a res myself.

Gpu block is dependant on whether you require a full cover or gpu only block, the full cover are more expensive but cool gpu,vram,mosfets....the lot,EK do a nice one, much cheaper and just as effective as the DD full cover.

Otherwise swiftech and Dtek amongst others to gpu only GTX blocks, you'll need to buy ram sinks with these though(swiftech MC14's for vram and MC21's for mosfets).

Don't forget hose clips and additive.

edit/ if you do go for the swiftech MCW60 gpu block you'll also need the G80 adapter plate, you can buy them as a pack if you google around.
