Hi guys this will be my first build but I thought I would ask you guys for spec ideas as I want to get the most for my money ive got a budget of around £400-500 I'm looking to use it to play a lot of steam games like guildwars, dayz, tf2.
Could you include WiFi and a HDMI port in this spec (no monitor needed) I'm looking to start ordering parts asap and will post updates as I build the machine
Thanks

Looking through the specs I was going to go with danny75s first spec and then add a nice video card too it in a couple months but looking at the price for the OS

That's a good idea but isn't windows 7 preferred over windows 8? Also should I make a start ordering parts or wait to see if anyone else has come up with a build
Thanks for the help guys

I want to get started on ordering parts but as this will be my first build I'm pretty nervous as to if I'll be able to set it all up by just following tutorial videos online but have wanted my own gaming PC for a very long time

Going to start ordering parts from Danny's Intel spec I've found the motherboard for £40 and was wondering if the avexi core ram is a good price on overclockers?
Also going to get the i5-4670k
