Mates just asked me for adice on what to buy for a:
Main TV in lounge -
sitting approx 10 ft away,
main uses - watching Sky with HD box, maybe using Wii once a week, DVD's.
Thinking of getting a PS3 for blu-ray at a later date... possibly
Secondry TV in bedroom -
main uses - watching Sky with either HD or Sky+ box, using with PC.
His budget is about £1000 - £800 but £150 of that will be taken up with the SKY HD boxes so that leaves £800 - £600.
He's been looking at a Samsung 37" LCD 1080p for main room but I don't think it's the best choice for his uses? I'm thinking of telling him to push his budget to the max and going for a 42" Panasonic plasma?
For upstairs I was thinking of maybe the Dell S2409W or S2309W? These are approx £200
Ideas?
