Good evening my fellow OcUK forum users :) hope your all getting into the xmas spirit. I certainly am this week now I can give OC lots of my not so hard earned compensation monies this week.

Which as you can see is a nice little selection of parts, basically I want that build but for £1300 can one of you lovely people please let me know of any cheaper alternatives for what I can use, I was thinking shave a few pennies off going for different RAM, PSU and Cooler perhaps?? And going with the OEM i5 rather than retail? Dont forget I get free shipping too so knock that off the final price :) need to save roughly £30.

But obviously I dont want to lose performance, and I'm going to be ordering either on thursday or friday :D excited much!!!

Also one minor detail, can some one clarify how many SATA connectors that mobo comes with as I require 3 in total and I know some Gigabyte MOBO's come with 2x SATA connectors included.

thanks in advance :)

Last time I checked the i5 was the same price OEM.
You can save money on the RAM by going with this, gives off very similar performance too:
YOUR BASKET
1 x TeamGroup Elite 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED316GM1600HC11DC01) £44.99
Total : £44.99 (includes shipping : FREE).

You could also drop the mouse to the G400 if you wanted, and get this graphics card instead:
YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus HD 7970 DirectCU II 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE FARCRY3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs & 20% off MOH Warfighter PC Games £319.99
Total : £319.99 (includes shipping : FREE).

Mobo's usually only come with 2 sata cables, you could perhaps drop the psu down to a xfx core 550w they're still made by seasonic. Also, the P280 is the same price as a fractal design define R4. So you could take a look at that if you wanted, it's a great case. You could also change the Corsair Vengeance to some TeamGroup elite 16gb. Which is another £30 off
