I'm planning the above build and looking for some help with watercooling. Would someone be able to spec required watercooling components. Comments on a motherboard would be also welcome.

Main thing I'm looking for is performance of the system. I want it to run as cool and quiet as possible. Not interest in what it looks like once it is tidy.

What is your budget, what do you want watercooled?

Performance and noise wise, it is only worth cooling the CPU and GPU. Will you be overclocking?

You will need to reconsider your case if you want to watercool. What is the largest case you will go for?

All in one loops tend to be noisier and not as good in terms of performance, if you don't plan on over clocking, i would just grab a quiet air cooler.

I take it you have accidentally forgot to put RAM in your basket and instead put 2 more CPUs than you needed.

That back plate might not work if you are going to use watercooling and i suspect your going to need a bigger case

The computer will be used as a HTPC so would like to leave the case if possible. I've no problem customising the case to suit or externally mounting a radiator on a bracket or I'm think of removing the hrs into a separate case or possibly put all the water cooling into a separate case.

In terms of components I'm looking for a very quiet setup which will achieve good temps and possibly allow me tomoverclock. Budget 200-300

If you want both your GPU and your CPU cooled, it will cost you a little more. 360mm of decent radiator is what you should be aiming at. The backplate cant be used with any of the EK waterblocks but they have their own backplates (which personally i think look much better)

If you want just the CPU cooled, get the V8 kit. You will need to monitor the SP120 fans with either software or a fan controller because at full blast, they are pretty loud.
