Hello!

Right its been a long time since i upgraded my rig currently have:

Athlon XP 2200+
512MB PC3200 DDR RAM
Geforce 4 Ti4200 128MB

basically I want to upgrade to a core 2 duo system with a 6300, I want to be able to overclock it but i wont be goin mad with it! i know i wont be able to use my graphics card anymore as its AGP so one thats on par or better but not too expensive will do as i dont play many games anymore, although the odd blast at farcry and maybe a few other games would be nice to see at a decent resolution/graphics settings for once! Are there any current souncards that come with a way of plugging a guitar jack into it for recording?

As recap, heres what I was thinking, obviously need help with my choices:

Core 2 Duo 6300
Overclockable Mobo
GFX Card equiv/better than GF4 Ti4200 (prolly get better ones out the bin now i know! :( )
1GB RAM - overclockable but i wont be going for mad overclocks so doesnt need to be made of platinum and diamond (i.e. cheaper is better)

Total budget is about £350

TIA
