Help with specs / upgrade please

First of all hi I am a Facebook streamer that captures my game play from my PS4 to my pc using a elgarto capture card hd60 pro when I play my recorded videos they look fine but when it comes to editing them it lags a lot witch makes it hard for editing I believe this is due to my pc specs Witch are as follows I am looking for a suitable upgrade but maybe keeping my mobo and just upgrading my cpu and ram if this is something that would work my current pc specs

Mobo Msi z77a g43
8g Kingston hyper x Genesis ram
Ssd for windows
500w

How much do you have to spend and will you be needing a monitor or peripherals?

I have everything I need I was just wanting to upgrade the bits I needed to budget cheep as possible but needs to do the job

2nd hand is your only option if you want to keep the motherboard. A 3770K and another 8gb of ram will improve things somewhat but you're upgrading into a dead platform.
