Hi all,
I had my PC running sweet with 2x8GB on my Ryzen 5900x and Asus X570 E-Gaming. 4000mhz and 2000 IF worked first time with the latest BIOS update (v.3801). I didn't need to change voltages, they were left as they came. I decided to add another 2 sticks and that's where my issues started. It will not boot anywhere near the 4000/2000 I had previously. It's at 3400/1700 and that's the best it will go. Anything else won't boot.
I've not tried upping the voltages yet as I don't know what to go up to. This is my first PC upgrade since I bought my Core i7 3820K new. So yeah, not familiar with this new BIOS yet.
This post is more of a starting point. If anyone has pointers on voltages and what settings to adjust I will gladly take onboard any advice. For now I'm going back to Googling for more information. I'll post more later.
Cheers
