Help with Sub Woofer

Hi

Currently i use a set of Bose Companion 20 Speakers on my PC, im wondering if its possible to buy a Sub Woofer and use it aswell as my current speakers.

I have a Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 Socket Motherboard and dont have a dedicated sound card

You should be able to add a sub woofer to your set up as the bose speakers only connect left and right.

The base speaker would connect into the black connection on the motherboard.

Pretty sure it's the orange connection for Sub/Centre and the Black for Surround on pretty much every soundcard?
