Help with system hang

I recently built myself a new PC to replace my horrendously dated old PC. At first i thought it was running fine, but now i keep getting hangs. Everything stops responding and all i can do is push the reset button. It happens while watching embedded flash movies on gametrailers and youtube, especially when in fullscreen, and while running some games like UT3 and WoW.

Any help would be appreciated its driving me mad.

8GB RAM
2 x 750GB Spinpoints in Raid 0
Vista Ultimate 64 bit

Initially I would try running it with just 4 gig of ram, If it still hangs swap that 4 out & try the other 4.
Easiest thing to start with before you start tweaking in Bios.

Your Chipset drivers are up to date aren't they ?

ok i checked both sets of RAM and the problem is still there, as far as im aware all my drivers are up too date
