help with this please

hi all i am building myself a water cool pc at the min i have a 800d case with a 360 rad up top and a 240rad at the bottom the 240 rad at the bottom as a drain port at the opposite end to the inlet outlet i thing its a ek 240 xtc rad i was wondering as that rad drain port is at the lowest part of the loop if it would be possible to connect a ball valve to it and hide it behind the front panel so when it came to changing the water all i would have to to would be to pull off the front panel connect a bit of hose to the ball value and turn it on to drain the water from the loop do you think this would work

Just to clarify, is it an XTX or XT rad?
