Hey,

I have a 65" C7 OLED as my main monitor. I also have an Anthem MRX 510 for the audio. I seem to need to keep this as an active monitor for sound to work.

I am on Windows 11 and although it works properley the majority of the time, several apps despite having the C7 as the primary monitor still open out of my main screen which requires me to manually send them to the C7.

Is there any software or just general option to make sure everything opens on the C7? The AVR doesn't support 4k so duplicating is not an option.

Any help appreciated.

I have very similar setup, HDMI to LG CX OLED, and displayport through a HDMI converter to a denon AVR and a second screen connected to the AVR. I very rarely have apps open on the wrong monitor though. Infact even apps that I want on my secondary screen forget their last open position and open on main screen after a reboot, so kind of the opposite problem to you haha. Also I'm on Windows 10.

Try using different ports on the GPU. I know my GPU has one of the displayports designated as priority because the BIOS only comes up on that screen, not my main screen.

Some good info here: https://mepis.org/community/t/how-c...en-on-a-specific-monitor-in-windows-10/1182/3

The suggestion regarding registry edits looks promising to me, might try it later.
