Or..

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor

with

Asus P8Z77-V DELUXE Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

This is my setup at the moment..

Asus P5K premium Black Edition Mobo
Intel Q6600 cpu

The two chips you have listed have Hyper Threading.

What will you be using your chip for? If its for video editing then you may get some benefit from the i7 chips but if its for gaming then i would suggest the i5 3570k which will have more or less equal performance.

With regard to the motherboard i would recomend getting the pro version (like mine) of the deluxe board you have listed unless you will make use of the extra features on the deluxe model which to my knowledge is a slightly different USB layout and bluetooth.

Thanks for the reply Demon.. I'll be using it for. Video editing and converting .. But mostly for gaming... Always been a gamer.. So when I build a system it needs to be best gfx card ... It's just for me 2011 or 1155 socket ... I want a system that's going to last the next 4 or 5 yrs like my current setup has...

If you think you will do enough video editing to warrant the hyper threading then get the i7 if not then definitely the i5 and personally if it was me i would go for the socket 1155. If you get yourself a good graphics card i can see your system lasting for the 4-5 years you are after with maybe one graphics card upgrade along the way.

Check your software and see if it utilises quick sync or indeed cuda as you have an nvidia GPU. Quick sync is better than cuda for video encoding mind. If you feel you need the hyperthreading from the i7 fair enough but certainly for gaming the i5 CPUs are great.

Quicksync uses the IGP built into sandybridge and Ivybridge CPUs to help "turbo boost" the encoding process. Cuda is similar but uses the nvidia GPU obviously.

Ivybridge has a better IGP than sandybridge so I would expect it to perform better when using quick sync. To give you an idea, i have encoded a 2hour movie from DVD to divx with DVDfab in 20mins! That was a 2 pass encode aswell on the i5 2500K.

It's also worth mentioning that the Z77 mobos have lucid virtu MVP. This increases the GPUs performance.....seeing as you mentioned being a gamer every lil helps right?
