I`m currently using a ATI x1950 pro agp(512mb) on a Asrock vsta board which also has a pci graphics slot
It`s just i`m having problems at the moment with the Ati agp drivers as there is apparent lack of support for agp cards after driver version 7.7.
Would upgrading to the pci version of the x1950 pro be any better,I.E performance wise and also driver issues.
Thanks
Steve

I don't think thats worth the hassle really. Sell the AGP x1950pro and buy a pci-e 3850pro. You will probably have to put about £30 towards it from selling the old card

You won't see a performance increase really, but you will be future proofed for using PCI-E because it seems that PCI-E is going to be whats used in the forseable future and beyond :)

Just to let you know i ordered a 3850 and it came today, really pleased with it.
Powercolour 512 was the one
