Hi all,
I need some advice on my setup what i can upgrade to get better gaming experience. With my current setup i struggle to keep stable 200 fps in CS2 130-200, low fps in Tarkov 35-100 (all depends on the area I'm in). and games like League of legends. between 100-200fps. all games at 1080p and low settings. i was thinking of either upgrading my ram to 32bg and changing my GPU to 4070 Super but im not sure if it will bottleneck. My budged is around £600 max for now. If i can away with not updating my whole pc rig I rather not do that.

Current setup.
Ryzen 5 5600x
MOBO Msi b550 gaming edge WIFI.
RAM Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL16 XMP on.
GPU 1080TI asus strix. had the GPU for 8 years
PSU 750 Super Flower 750w had this for 10 years.
Windows 11.
CPU temps doesn't go higher then 65 and GPU on a max load 92ish.

If you're thinking of changing your whole setup later this year then there is no point upgrading now. Just put that £600 into savings and upgrade slightly sooner.

this an option, I'm not too sure if I will be able to, it might be a possibility. But if i can make any changes to this current setup and make my gaming experience better i rather do that.

CPU: 5700x3d
Ram: 32gb (2x 16)
Gpu: 4070/4070 super

what size is your ssd? might be worth dropping in a 1tb ssd if you don't already have one, and you're running out of ssd space

When you're running your games what is the cpu/gpu usage? Should be able to play around with settings and see what is most likely limiting performance on average and then be able to focus initial upgrade in that area, e.g. if gpu usage is pegged at 100% and gpu in the 60s then upgrading the cpu isn't really going to give you much, orr if you're only using 10gb of mem then again going to 32 would be a waste compared to upgrading the gpu etc.

oh when i play Tarkov my ram is at 90-95% usage, and CS2 at 80ish.
