Hi there, I'm currently running the spec below, but i'm finding its no longer enough for want I want. Which is general use, and gaming every now and then. I'd like to make some upgrades to the system to include a new case as the old one is a bit tatty. Thinking new ram, graphics card, new HDD, maybe new cpu not sure if its worth it though? Also not really interested in overclocking as can;t really be bothered with the hassle.

Would be great if somebody could recomend a few choice upgrade parts. Looking to spend around 300 pounds maybe slightly more if needs be.

Spec.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750, stock speed
Asus P5N-E SLI mobo
2x 1GB sticks of ram not sure on speed
ATI x1950 prowestern
Western digital SATA 250gb HDD
550 watt PSU

Think that just about covers it. I'm also running it with a dual screen setup, one monitor running at 1600x1050, and the other at 1260x1024.

Thanks very much for any help. all is appreciated

Tom.

I'd just get 4GB RAM and get the Zotac GTX260-216 GFX card and overclock the CPU (It'll be worth it and save you money) - that'll be around £240 and you should see a nice allround improvement.
If you want a new case look at the Lian Li PC-7B or PC-A09B (OcUK doesn't stock it yet though).
