Help with upgrades

Hey guys, I've finally decided on upgrading my PC (4 years old) after attempting to play PUBG. It currently runs PUBG at around 30 fps (lowest settings) and I hope to bring that up to 60 or so.

My PC currently hold these components:
INTEL i5 3570k 3rd Generation Quad Core 4x3,4GHz
1000GB HDD
8GB DDR3 (1333 MHz)
Grafik GeForce GTX660 (2048MB DDR5-VGA-DVI-HDMI-DirectX 11)
Audio - 6xUSB 2.0
2xUSB 3.0
650W
1xeSATA

I'm not fussed over graphics but I do like my frames! I was thinking of upgrading my GPU and RAM (after reading some articles and guides), but as a TOTAL newbie to PC components, I would really appreciate some help over which parts I should purchase.

PS. I'm mostly concerned about if the components would be compatible with the rest of my PC. My budget is around £200-£300.

Thanks a bunch

Your RAM is slower than molasses and your CPU could use a good overclock. Your GPU is also painfully slow.
Biggest gains will be from a CPU overclock and a faster GPU. You'll need a better cooler (And a Z77 board... or Z68 or P67 in a pinch)

So priorities:
1. GPU
2.Cooler for CPU ( to be overclocked)
3. Change motherboard
4.RAM
am I right to assume the above? And any recommendations for GPU, cooler and RAM? Cheers
