Hi all, as per the title i am looking at finally upgrading my time machine

Current specs are:

I5 66k
Corsair H60
Asus Z170 Pro gaming
Kingston 16gb DDR4 2400mhz
Gforce RTX 2080 8gb
Samsung SSD 250gb (OS)
Corsair MP600 1tb

Initially, I would want to upgrade CPU/RAM/MB and cooler keeping my current case, GPU, PSU and storage. I have my eye on two builds, but my knowledge of the current market is slacking, so any help would be appreciated

i7 13700k
MSI pro-Z790-p wifi ATX
ARCTIC liquid freezer III 360
Crucial pro DDR5 6000mhz 2x16gb

or

Ryzen 7 9700x
MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk ATX
Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360
Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHZ 2x16gb

The upgraded PC would be used for gaming on some of the newer titles, FPS and MMO's.

Edit -

Funds are a little tight, I have £500 and around £150 in giftcards

Hi.

AM5 would be my choice CPU 7600 with a b650 and 32gb 6000mhz set you back about £400 ,then a x3d CPU in the future when prices aren't stupid.

7600 can be had for £175 or if you prefer a stronger CPU there's money there to do so. A £20 to £30 air cooler is more than enough like the thermalright peerless assasin, something to consider.

Lots of options really.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £236.98 (includes delivery: £3.99)
