I had pc-cillin but got rid as it uses too much system resources, after a search I found Nod32 came well recommended. It was fine yesterday when I installed it, I did an in depth scan, it found a couple of little things, one of them it wouldnt let me delete.

Today im getting a warning message, here is a screen print...

How can I get rid of it? keeps popping up every 5-10 mins.

Thanks

Seems like you have a virus and/or spyware already installed which is contacting that website to try and download more crap.

Find the original virus/spyware, boot into safe mode and delete.

It is a virus located at that URL displayed in the screenshot. Does it still pop up if your web browser is closed? And I assume you clicked terminate?

EDIT: Beaten to it.

Yea I keep clicking terminate, it pops up even with nothing open like while I was away from my computer.

Like I said, its because you already have a virus/spyware on your pc that is trying to connect with that site. Post a Hijack this report. It will be one of your running processes.

click the 'save to a file' option when you start hijackthis, then we can look at it, that website will only work for you.

before running a nod32 scan (or any of the below)
Disable system restore -google it if you don't know how to, viruses hide in here, so disabling it will free up space and remove extra viruses

install ccleaner, and remove temp files, spyware scanning will be a lot quicker then

install avg antispyware, they bought it from a very good company called 'ewido', awesome malware scanner

also, give these a whirl..
windows defender (don't leave this and avg as installed at the same time, your pc will crawl to a halt.. -you'll have avg, nod32 + defender scanning every file as it's used!)

adaware
spybot s&d

Thanks for the replies, however the whole thing broke shortly after my last post.

Spent a few hours trying to repair or recover it, then thought it was a good opportunity to try Vista, seems good so far.
