Several times now my wife has hit the big brown hybernation button instead of the shutdown tab. When I then come to use the pc it won't wake up!
I have to hold the power button in fot at least twenty seconds and then press it and retsart again which takes a while.

What settings should I change and should the PC wake up with the power button or kboard or something.
And is there any way to change the fact that the biggest easiest button to get to is hybernate and not shut down!

You can change what the buttons do in the power bit :)

I would go to the screen saver tab and click the power savings bit then where it says balanced etc, the bar on the left says change what the case buttons do or something :) (not on it atm :p) i set my buttons to sleep

Hibernation saves to HD and should expect power button to turn on and it'll load the save from the HD.

Sleep keeps the ram powered and also saves to HD incase of power failure :) sleep has a blinking power light
