Iam having trouble following advice from few people adjust voltages for CPU overclock

currently the 2500k overclocked to 4.4Ghz on auto and CPU-Z reports the voltage as 1.056 which ive been told is incorrect as its impossible

when ive gone into BIOS the Vcore reads 1.284 - this is not a setting that can be changed...
in voltages page there is no Vcore setting you can adjust, it appears to have other settings and DVID (Dynamic Vcore) which you raise or lower in increments - default setting is 0.00

has anyone got any experience with these boards?
does these boards mis-report the voltages?

here is whats on it (COPIED FROM MANUAL)
>>>CPU
TYPE ------- NORMAL SETTING ----- CURRENT
LOAD LINE CALIBRATION -- --[AUTO]
DVID -- +0.00V -- [AUTO]
QPI/VTT -- 1.050V -- [AUTO]
SYSTEM AGENT VOLTAGE -- 0.950 -- [AUTO]

>>>MCH/ICH
PCH CORE -- 1.050V -- [AUTO]
CPU PLL -- 1.800V -- [AUTO]

>>>DRAM
DRAM VOLTAGE [AUTO]
DRAM VREF [AUTO]
DRAM TERMINATION [AUTO]
CHA DATA VREF [AUTO]
CHB DATA VREF [AUTO]
CHA ADDRESS [AUTO]
CHB ADDRESS [AUTO]

thanks
