Could anyone help me out. I'm eyeing up a EK CSQ Pump res combo and I'm really confused with all the fittings.

Can anyone tell me what I will need.

The proposed plan is the pump res combo a 240 radiator of some kind and a EK Supremacy. To get me started. I would then like to add my 670 and another 240 to the loop.

HELP Please. I've read about G1/4 fittings but there are hundreds and I don't know what I need.

All you need to know about fittings are the inned diameter and outer diameter ID/OD.
These measurements will need to match the tubing measurements.
As for the threads, pretty much everything these days have G1/4 thread.
For CPU loop you'll need:
CPU block
Pump/red
Fittings
Tubing
Coolant
Radiator

Thank you. Do you have links to the type of fittings I will need? Id like compression fittings I heard they are better? They do look nice in that dark nickel colour.

What compression fittings you get depends on the tube sizing. Most of them have standard 1/4" threads, to fit the majority of radiators/pumps/blocks/reservoirs out there, but are designed to fit specific sizes of tubes.

Have you bought tubing yet ?

For a CPU only loop, you can get 3/8 ID 1/2 OD tubing. Even if you want to add a GPU in the future, it won't make much of a difference.

If you go for these diameters for tubing, you will need compression fittings which are of the same spec :)

In terms of which ones to get, you need to look at how you plan to route the tubing through your case. You can get the standard fitting, which will be something like this:

However, using just these your tubes might have funny bends (depends on your setup). This is where angle fittings come into play:

These are not compression fittings, but they make it possible to install a compression fitting on an angle, so you can get your tubing straight.

These are the basic ones - then you have T-fitting and all sorts of other things.

What would you get if you wanted to add a GPU and have decent expandability. I want to SLI at some point, don't mind spending some money up front.
