well i been tempted to use water cooling and after some research i started to make a list to see how much it will cost me. here is where i run into problems :P

1)i think some one told me that depending on do i have a dual or quad core i might need a different cpu water block, so if i have a quad which is best?

2)also i found some people using black ice radiators over thermochill, i was told thermochill 120.3 was the best 360mm rad. so which rad is best now?

3)also if i was to use 1/2" barbs on everything what size tubing do i need? i just found out there was something called inner diameter =/

4)o and what is the spiral anti kink stuff for? to stop kink of course, but whats kink =/

5)o and what pump should i use? it will be going through CPU water block, and a gpu block (don't know what block yet because i was going to get one for gtx 260-216 later on).

6) last question, do you think a pa120.3 is enough cooling for a overclock q9550 and 260?

thanks for your help

all the current blocks will cool a quad or a dual. find one that matches your budget and then google for a review or two.
thermochill were the best rads (PA series) but the others are catching up. if you can afford one get a PA120.3
barbs have an outer diameter and tubing has both and inner and an outer. the inner diameter of the tubing should match the outer diameter of the barb although many people now prefer to get 1/2" barbs and 7/16" tubing which once heated will fit and then cool to a tight fitting
kinking is what happens to round tubing when you make it turn too hard, i.e. it flattens which limits the flow or can even stop it. the coils keep the tubing from flattening.
the DDC-1T with an after-market top such as the XSPC res/top is by far the best pump at the moment
yes a PA120.3 is enough cooling although it will need some fans (it's the fans that do most of the work don't forget)

coool thanks, you think some yate loons be enough for that cooling? 40 cfm ones :P and what do i use to heat the tubing? a hair dryer will work?

also after typing that pump in water cooling uk i found so many =/ u mind e-mailing me a link? or item number of the item?
