Help with what phone too buy

Hey,

I currently have a Redmi Note 8 phone but I'm wanting to upgrade too a phone that supports 5G.

I've been haveing a look around, but not sure what to buy, any advice?

I have a budget of £200 at the most, I mainly used phone for photos and useing internet etc.

The camera on my phone now is 48mp so would like one the same or better. Would also be great if new phone supports SD card to incress storage.

5g limits the choice if budget is £200 but doable. Realme 6 Pro/X50 can be imported for under £200 nowadays and pack a 90Hz screen with 5g. Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite is also an excellent value for money handset although you're look at a bit more than your budget.

Redmi Note 9 Pro is very popular in the under £200 bracket but doesn't have 5g.
 
Personally I would have a hard time going back to a non AMOLED screen at this point which Mi 10 Lite has, but saying that your current phone doesn't either so may be a non issue for you.

Realme has a higher refresh 90Hz screen and a more versatile camera system with ultrawide, wide and telephoto lenses (Mi 10 lite lacks telephoto lens). It also offers expandable storage which Xiaomi doesn't so may be a deciding factor if that's important to you.

Thank you, that has made my decision then. I wanted a phone that can have storage added.

EDIT: where can I buy from so it comes imported so I pay less?
 
If expandable storage is also a must then worth checking out Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, seems to be around £280 from a quick look online but maybe be better deals around.
