Help with Wi-Fi

Can someone give me a brief explanation on how the Wi-Fi connection works on my Nintendo DS Lite?

Yeah, sorry mate.

Basically have a DS Lite and want to play with others via the Wi-Fi network.

Do i have to be anywhere specifically?

What things have to be done to enable a connection?

You basically start up a game (MKDS or Animal Crossing spring to mind) and choose the WFC Connection, if it's not been set up before it'll prompt you to.

You need to be within range of a wireless router, that's it.

Router mustn't be using WPA tough as the DS doesn't support it.
