I need to connect my Ubuntu machine wirelessly to a network that uses stupid security refresh certificates; CA files. I've managed to import them into a Windows 7 device and get connected with my network username and password, but Ubuntu doesn't recognize the Word file that has the 2 CA files embedded - on Windows I double click the files and install them.

Is there any way I can extract the settings/data from the windows 7 device and input into Ubuntu's wireless settings?

Actually, my phone and tablet connect to this network without CA certificates; could I trick the network into thinking that my Ubuntu machine is a tablet therefore I wouldn't need to install the certificates?
