Good Afternoon,

I have a number of Windows 7 Pro laptops that I need to get onto our domain.

Initially I connected one of the laptops to our domain, installed all necessary software and removed unecessary software. I gave the laptop a generic name and then took it off the domain.

After a restart I ran the SysPrep from the Windows System 32 folder and chose the OOBE option and ticked the Generalize option and chose Quit. Everything went through fine and I shutdown the machine.

Now have I done enough so that it is ok for me to power up the laptop, insert the Ghost cd and pull an image of the laptop?

Is there anything that I have missed out?

Should be good to go

Suck it and see :), don't forget to force it to boot from the Ghost cd, I've done that in the past

Ok cool. I'll post back after I've got the image and put it onto one of the other laptops *fingers crossed*

Cheers buddy!

Final question, once I obtain an image from a sysprep'd laptop and then apply that image to another laptop, do I need to still sysprep the second laptop?
