Help with windows xp

Help!
Ok i was on windows xp sp2 then i got the upgrade so i upgraded it about 11.30 at night and it took ages it looked like it was in the early stages of the install so i stupidly turned of my computer.
Now when i start up my computer it does its usual showing my my ram cpu gpu etc. Then i just get a blank page with an underscore flashing at me HELP!!!

My copy is legit but i dont have my windows xp home dsk although i have my brother windows xp pro.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Ok

no i dont have any other attached found my disk will try and restore and tried safe mode and tht said tht my windows didn't match so will have to reinstall sp2
