Hello Guys,

I have a Zalman Z9 Plus ATX Mid Tower.

The other day I removed the front panel with the subtlety of a fat goblin walking in a garden of roses and I totally ripped the wires apart from the power button :/

There is 4 wires, two greens, a white and a black one.

I am planning to buy a soldering iron to repair it but I am unsure of what cable needs to be plugged where, would any of you be able to give me some guidance please ?

see picture below

Thanks a lot

Is this an illuminated switch? You should find that there'll be two pins for powering the led. They'll be polarised so one will be + and one perhaps to that G terminal or something. As a guess I'd say the white is the +v and the black is ground.

If you wire backwards nothing bad will happen. It just won't light up. G could also be a cavity number. Hard to say. I'd use a multimeter to determine the switching contacts if it were mine.

The two greens will be the switch circuit and can be wired either way.

Next time don't be so clumsy :P
