Right long story so i will cut it down the basics.
Now that i am working 2 jobs i was asked by my second employer if i would rather invoice him (self employed) or et him sort it all out. i decided on the later as i didnt want to have to do all the tax and NI myself.
How i started getting paid here from 1st Feb, and was told that wages are paid around the middle (14th ) of every month! now no wages arrived mid march so i asked when it was due. he decided to wait untill april so that he would then pay my 6 weeks in one go (i work 2 weeks in arrers)
so its now the 7th of april i am owed £982 (part time and 2 months worth) and he keeps telling me the wage slips are coming in today. he told me this yesterday! and again today! still nothing!
on top of this he has worked out that he owes me £878 not £982. Now from past expereience i always always keep a spreadsheet with every single our i work in it. the sheet works out to the penny how much i am owed after tax. As i am on 3 different pay schemes (Bar day time/ Doorman Rate and Bar After midnight) its easy to use the spread sheet for this.
he has showed me the record he has of my hours and he has changed some! for example.
When i work the door on a friday night i get £10 on the door untill the last customer leaves, it then changes to £6.50 an hour while we clean the place. he seems to be changing my rate of pay at 3am which is 1 hour before the last person leaves. how is this fair??
i am perfectly within my rights to demand my money by the end of the day arent i?? but how do i manage the dispuite over how much??
sorry for the long post!!
