Help with WRT54GL and wireless speeds

Hi

I've got Virgin 60mb BB with the SuperHub, but prefer to use my WRT54GL router as the wireless is more stable.

However, my wireless speeds on the 54GL are very slow.



This is the speed using the SuperHub



Strange that the upload speeds are the same.

I'm using the latest Tomato firmware and QoS turned off.

Any ideas?

Your WRT54GL is only Wireless-G capable whereas the superhub is Wireless-N. The max possible speed on your router under ideal circumstances is less than the rated speed of your broadband.

WRT54GL were great at the time, but they're a bit long in the tooth now.

It's just a shame there aren't more routers that support Tomato firmware, I firmly believe this to be the best firmware interface I've ever used.
