Holla people, just wondering if anyone can help me with my gpu problem.
The card runs fine for maybe a couple of hours but then all of a sudden it will literally stop working my pc will go ultra quiet and my screen goes into what looks like standby mode. Now I've tested all the other parts in a similar rig which took me like 3 days after testing each part in the computer for a number of hours and I've narrowed it down to my graphics card.
I've also checked to see if the problem is with the temperature and from what I can see it doesn't go over 58c.
Sometimes I can use the pc for 5 hours before it goes off and sometimes I can use it for 20 minutes before it goes off so its a pretty intermittant problem but can somone help me as I'm ready to rip my hair out trying to fix this thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
ps. There's been no overclocking to this card at all as I'm pretty scared I'll fry the thing so that rules that out.

Thanks for the help guys, my load temps are about 60 at the very max and I clean out my hsf almost every 2 weeks and it's spotless at the moment. I know it's not the power supply because I've tried the graphics card from my other machine in this one and that seems to work fine now matter how long its on for.
Both cards are radeon x1900xt.
I've also contacted Overclockers tech help who advised me to speak to Asus as they handle warranty products over a year old and now Asus have sent me back to Overclockers telling me that they handle it, now I'm feeling I'm just going back in circles :S
Oh forgot to mention no all the fan's don't go off I can still see lights from the mobo and case fans still work as do cpu fans.

Somone from Asus tech help pointed me to this website, which informs me to go back to the reseller http://support.asus.com/repair/repair.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

i was having some similar probs with mine up until christmas (where the threat of a new card suddenly made it behave :D)

on boot up the card just either didnt seem to be kicking in, or i would get a very very bad mess of a picture from it. been fine for the last two weeks though - still thinking of getting a 8800gt after payday though.
