Help with xbox live at uni

Basically can't connect run the test and it says the MTU is not high enough. Is there anything I can do to increase bearing in mind I have no access to the control of the network.

Don't think so, they probably lowered the MTU, so low to prevent downloading of large files/gaming packets...

If you can't change the network is their not a setting on your xbox to reduce the maximum transmission unit used.
