Help with Xbox Series X sound output ( ideas etc )

Right, have a Series X being delivered ( finally ).
Setup at present in games room is PC on desk Speakers and headphones connected to a Creative X7, on the adjacent wall I have a LG CX OLED connected also to PC via a HDMI 2.1 to a 3080 which will be connected to the new Xbox but as I understand no optical out on the Series X so open to ideas for getting the Xbox connected to the X7 or alternatively any suggestions for an atmos sound bar to sit under the OLED that would work with the Xbox for gaming/films etc.

(p.s. lockdown and wife's inability to shop her backside off has made these upgrades possible ) !

Must remember to tell her in my will etc ....

You should be able to connect the Xbox console to the TV and then from the TV set optical as the output method. The Audio when you select passthrough should be able to go from the Series X console to the TV and then out to the X7.

Cheers for that, think I need to grab a longer Optical cable will give that a shot, appreciated simple when you think about it unless your trying to decide what wires go where in your head and that doesn't work out as planned lol
