This could be MSI AB causing the black screen when it applies the memory overclock. Totally remove AB and it should be fine.

Yeah a lot of issues are caused by MSI AB nowadays -_- when comes to VRAM overclocks.

Happens with Trixx too when this happened to me. It's crimson cos when i rolled back to pre crimson drivers there was absolutely no problem with trixx or MSI afterburner. Tried newest version of crimson in hopes they fixed it... NOPE same again Blackscreen at login screen of windows, just before it hits desktop. So it's certainly to do with crimson rather than MSI afterburner.
