[Help] Xbox 360 Network Setup

Hi Guys,

I'm at a freinds house tryig to setup a 360, can you guys help me out with links to guides or FAQ's as I'm having issues with the network, I belive its an IP address conflict, the Xbox and PC are seeing something at the other end.

Please help a man in despair.

OK, I've got it picking up the IP as they're set manually. The problem now is the DNS. Any idea's on what to do?

According to the guide I have to share the net connection, but, on the option to my friends PC has this: http://img283.imageshack.us/img283/1082/untitledqc0.jpg . But, the site also says that if there is only 1 LAN connection it dosent matter, is that true?

I figure its not working because I can't share the net and the Xbox is trying to go straight to Xbox live but the actual connection is working...and I don't have to touch the DNS.

Edit* I was right, a SP2 reinstall fixed the issue.
