right guys just a quick question...
I'm overclocking my 970 MSI Gaming by running Heaven in extreme at 1600x900 windowed mode leaving memory clocks stock and power limit to 110 and core voltage at stock...
bumping the clock MHz by 10 at a time while looking at the heaven screen for artefacts and crashes... I keep upping my MHz 10 at a time till I run into either of these... once I done this for the core I set it back to stock and then find my memory max using the same method... is this the correct way of going about doing things??
the second question is all this boost malarkey I set my core clock to 200+ and afterburner reads a higher boost clock and then after a while the same boost clock drops... why is this happening and what's up with this? (throttling?? but why?? power??)
also sometimes my gpu usage drops and goes back up in fraction of a second I thought this was due to having scenes changing in heaven benchmark but its not that is this normal??
Many Thanks my fellow friends
