Hi guys,

Im building a pc for the mrs but i have come to a crossroad. I am struggling to see how to fit the CD Drive into the case?

The case is Antec SLK3000B Midi Tower Case.

If anyone could help would be appreciated

If it's anything like my Sonata case you'll find some rails supplied with the case (these might be what you're calling clips). You'll need to first screw this into the drives and then you can slide the drives into the bays

The rails are pictured below:

Thanks guys, ive tried attaching the rails to the drive but it just seems too much like im forcing it in :(. Is there any guides or owners that could help??

I've got the Sonata that's got the same attachment mechanism and it slid in quite easily

Have you attached the rails onto the right set of screws? The large majority of optical drives have two rows of screws to attach the unit to a case - perhaps you've attached the rails onto the wrong set of screws so it doesn't fit in smoothly?
 
Im not sure lol, do i have to remove the front of the case in order to slide them in ? All my screws are muddled :P so im just using the smallest of the bunch :)
