Ive brought a new system from OCuk....brought the parts and built myself.
I have a asus m2n32 sli-dlx mainboard, am2 3500 cpu, 2gb (4x512mb) of corsair value pc5300 ram, radeon x800Gt Graphics card, 16x dvd-rw and a 120gb ide hdd.
The machine boots fine and recognises everything ok but when i load windows XP it formats the hard disk ok but when it loads files it will continuosly say that a file is missing on the disk. I have tried three copies of XP and each time it is a different file missing. If I try windows xp x64 it will load up everything ok then at the first restart if wil try to boot from cd then when the windows xp logo usually boots in it will say operating system missing.
Im totally confused at this....
