Im reformatting my computer soon

When i reinstall Folding how do i make sure i keep my same name and account and points?

your name and points are hosted on sanfords server so not a problem.
just install F@H as normal - username zip. Team 10 etc, etc, etc.

If your using XP I hope you've got sp2 on disk - killer of a download - on that point I did a new install two weeks ago and spent 4-5 hours on the MS website downloading and installing 'critical' update

Yeah, there won't be a problem. Just install the client exactly the same as before and you should be good to go.

Make sure to either finish the current WU (use the -oneunit flag to stop the client downloading another one) or copy the current WU to your new install.

assuming you're using the console client just copy the whole folder accross and run with the -configonly flag to set the service up

the client will get a new ID though that won't affect the WU you're working on - it will however show as an extra active CPU on the stats but after a week that'll sort itself out
