Hi guys desperatly need some help just rebuilt the gf's pc and its getting random crash's seem completly random.

Spec is:

Tagan 380w
Geforce 7800 GT OC - BFGtech
AMD 3700 san diego
Freezer 64 pro
samsung spinpoint 160gb (sata)
Asus Fatility s939 motherboard
Corsair platinum edition 2x 1GB ram

The voltages seem rock steady but the temps seem a little high well mobo does(via asus probe)

GPU - 51
CPU - 44
Mbo - 44

all at idle (well light browsing)

any idea what could be wrong and where/how to start checking? dont have any spare bits to test so whatever I test I have to buy another one and need the pc asap :(

running windows xp incase that makes a difference and its just been installed

First step, run memtest on it.
Then try prime95.

You probably upset something when you rebuilt it and you might need to reseat the memory if its failing memtest.

it appears to be one of the corsair memory modules, anyone know what they are like for returns?

As i said, try reseating it first if it wasn't faulty before. Just take it out, check for dust and clean the contacts if you can, then put it firmly back in and try again.
