Help!!

I just bought a copy of Vista Home Premium 64 Bit and I can't get it to install. It says it can't find a compatible HDD.

I have a Maxtor SATA drive and an Abit AV8 3rd Eye motherboard. I have downloaded the SATA driver from Abit but I keep getting the same message about no compatible HDD.

Any ideas?

(not sure which it could be)

you have to extract the drivers onto a usb pen, (so they're folders and not zip files)

no probs, wasn't trying to 'tell you off' for not using a decent title, but more people will read it when it explains a little more

in some forums you get a warning for not using post icons and tags!
